CreateLixir
Documentation

Everything you need to build with CreateLixir.

The official technical documentation — guides, reference, and integration notes for every part of the platform. Beginner-friendly on the surface, comprehensive underneath.

Documentation categories

Everything, organised the way you'll actually look for it.

Ten sections, each with the pages that live under it. Available pages route to the surface that owns their content today; upcoming pages are labelled 'Soon' so you know what's on the way.

Popular documentation

Most read this month.

The pages other builders are landing on the most. When usage analytics land, this list becomes automated.

Until real popularity data flows in, this is a hand-picked set of the pages worth reading first — the ones that unlock the rest of the platform.

Search

Great search is on the way.

The design brief for docs search: fast, keyboard-first, and thorough. Everything below is planned; the input in the hero above is the same field the results panel will attach to.

Until the pipeline lands, categories are the fastest way to navigate. Once search ships, this section describes what you'll be able to do without leaving the keyboard.

  • Full-text search
    Soon

Match on any word across every page — title, body, code samples.

  • Keyboard-first
    Soon

⌘K / Ctrl+K opens search from anywhere. Arrow keys navigate results.

  • Instant results
    Soon

Results appear as you type. Sub-100ms for the whole doc corpus.

  • Filters
    Soon

Scope by category, page type, or version once versioned docs land.

  • Categories
    Soon

Results grouped by section so the right context surfaces first.

Quick start

From account to deploy — in five steps.

The shortest path to seeing CreateLixir work end-to-end. Each step points at the surface that owns it today; walkthrough pages populate as they land.

Read once to get the shape, then follow along in a new tab. Every step is designed to take minutes, not hours.

  1. Step 1

    Create your account

Sign up for CreateLixir and join a workspace. Free plans include a Personal workspace and 300 monthly credits.

  2. Step 2

    Create your first project

New projects arrive with Project Brain seeded and every core module ready to use.

  3. Step 3

    Describe your idea

Tell Prompt Workspace what you want to build. Rough is fine — the AI Architect will help shape it into a plan.

  4. Step 4

    Generate software

The AI Engineering Team executes against the plan, reading from Project Brain and writing back what it learns.

  5. Step 5

    Deploy

Ship to your cloud of choice from the Deployment Center. Watch it run, iterate, repeat.

Documentation philosophy

Six principles the docs team writes to.

Documentation is a product. It's designed, iterated, and versioned like the rest of CreateLixir. These are the principles that shape it.

If a page violates one of these, it's a bug worth reporting. Unclear docs are as much a defect as broken code.

  • Clear

Every page opens with what you'll learn and how long it takes.

  • Practical

Docs earn their place by being useful on a Tuesday afternoon — not by being exhaustive.

  • Up-to-date

Docs ship on the same day as the release they document. Old versions are archived, not deleted.

  • Example-driven

Every non-trivial concept has a working example next to it.

  • Beginner-friendly

The most common path is always visible. Advanced material is one click deeper, never in your way.

  • Comprehensive

If it ships in the platform, it's documented — even the boring parts.

Unclear docs are bugs. If a page reads wrong or leaves you stuck, tell us — the docs team treats every report seriously.
FAQ

Answers about the docs themselves.

  • The Getting Started section is the recommended first stop. Read Platform Overview to build the mental model, then follow Create an Account and Your First Project to get shipping.
